Welcome to the Bioinformatics Programme
We offer flexible opportunities for part-time study in all areas of Bioinformatics. Modules are taught as either one week intensive courses or as six-week online courses. Class sizes are kept small to facilitate interaction and to promote learning.
While we are no longer accepting applications for the Certificate, Diploma or MSc we continue to welcome applications to undertake modules on a stand-alone basis. Upcoming modules include Molecular Evolution and Comparative Genomics, Statistics for Biosciences and Statistical Data-mining.
The Programme is also a centre for research activity. The teaching staff are involved in a number of national and international projects in areas such as: protein evolution; protein structure prediction; statistical population genetics; systems biology; developmental biology
